BIO

Renee Zellweger won the Academy Award in 2004 for her performance in the film Cold Mountain. Also received Oscar nominations for Bridget Jones's Diary (2002) and Chicago (2003). She portrayed Judy Garland in the 2019 biopic Judy. Other film credits include: Bridget Jones's Baby (2016); New in Town (2010); Miss Potter (2006); and Cinderella Man (2005).

Jefferson Performing Arts Will Present SCHOOL OF ROCK Next Month

BRIDGET JONES Sequel Greenlit; Renée Zellweger, Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson Star

On Tuesday, it was officially announced that Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, the fourth film in the franchise, is in development. The film will see the return of Renee Zellweger in the Oscar-nominated role and Hugh Grant as love interest Daniel Cleaver, who was absent in the previous film. Emma Thompson also returns as Bridget's doctor Rawling.

Initial casting has been announced for the Broadway production of the acclaimed musical TAMMY FAYE. Two-time Olivier Award winner Katie Brayben will recreate her Olivier Award-winning performance as Tammy Faye Bakker, and Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells will reprise his Olivier-nominated performance as Jim Bakker. TAMMY FAYE will begin preview performances on October 19th and will officially open on November 14th, 2024 at Broadway's Palace Theater.
