Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts announces summer camps are on sale now. Week-long camps in June and July at the arts center's AdventHealth School of the Arts are available for students of varying ages and skill levels in a range of performing arts featuring musical theater and comedy.

The Arthur Miller Foundation’s annual Arthur Miller Foundation Honors is set for November 14, 2022 in New York City and will be hosted by Broadway artists Sasha Hutchings (Hamilton, Oklahoma!) and Nik Walker (Ain't Too Proud, Hamilton).

This week, Broadway Dreams and The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization hosted the 70th Anniversary gala concert celebration of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize Award-winning musical triumph, South Pacific. 

On Monday, July 23rd, Feinstein's/54 Below was painted pink, as the ladies of MTV's Legally Blonde: The Search For Elle Woods reunited for the first time to celebrate the show's 10 year anniversary. The evening was pure perfection and boasted songs from Legally Blonde, surprise special guests and lots of Bend & Snap! Take a peek at all the action below!

Former instructors include such talented Broadway performers as 2014 Tony Award® winner for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, Billy Porter, and Shoshana Bean, who played Elphaba in Wicked.

Amy Wolk and Nikki M. James present I Only Have Lies For You, a new live gameshow that pits Broadway panelists against each other in a lying contest.  Two teams of three will go head-to-head telling stories, some of which may not be true---it is up to the other team to guess, Truth or Lie.

The 2008 MTV series was famously designed to pick the replacement for Tony-nominated leading lady Laura Bell Bundy in the 2006 Broadway musical, based on the film of the same title. Join the ladies of The Search For Elle Woods as they reunite at Feinstein's/54 Below for the first time and celebrate 10 years of friendship, pink, and perfection! Cast members to include Rhiannon Hanson, Lauren Zakrin, and Rachel Potter.

Tony Moreno and Sofia Deler, two Orange County high school students from the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts's Applause Awards program won awards for Best Actor and Best Actress on Monday evening at The Jimmy Awards in New York City. Moreno and Deler competed against 72 other students from across the country for the top prize in a ceremony at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre that was hosted by 2017 Tony Award winner for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, Ben Platt, of Dear Evan Hansen. This is the first time in the 9-year history of the Jimmy Awards that both winners come from the same program and city.

Shea's Performing Arts Center and The Lipke Foundation are proud to have sent the Best Actress and Best Actor winners from the 24th Annual Kenny Awards to participate in The Jimmy Awards on Monday, June 26.

Start spreadin' the news! The ninth annual Jimmy Award winners were announced yesterday at the Minskoff Theatre. This year's finalists included: Sam Primack, Nathan Keffer, Antonio Cipriano, Jasmine Rogers, Hatty King, Maggie Gidden and winners Sofia Deler and Tony Moreno.
