Naomi is a multi-talented performer and artistic creator hailing from the south side of Chicago, Illinois. Naomi has been trained (and continues to train) in dance, music, and theatre for upwards of twenty years.Ballet being the basis of her early dance training, Naomi appeared in productions with The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago and The Universal Ballet of South Korea as well as several local and national ballet competitions while continuing to study modern dance, jazz, hip hop, latin, west African, and tap. Simultaneously, Naomi began singing in numerous choirs and started formal vocal training, honing her voice to adapt and negotiate varying styles including classical, pop, rock, and R&B. Naomi eventually went on to earn her degree in Drama (B.F.A.) at the Cap 21 Consevatory for musical theatre in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Performing and training in a wide range of genres and styles over the years has molded Naomi into a unique and well-rounded entertainer. Her theatrical credits range from West Side Story (Anita standby, Int’l tour) to The Who’s TOMMY to Hairspray. Naomi has also had the pleasure of working commercially with multiple artists and notable choreographers including Jermaine Browne, Jared Jenkins, and Kellen Stancil for Coco & The Vanity Vixens. She continues to chase her aspirations both in legitimate and commercial performance as well as songwriting and recording in New York City.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the complete cast and creative team for its upcoming musical Fly, based on the J.M. Barrie novel Peter and Wendy, with book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph (Playhouse's Guards at the Taj, Broadway's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo); music by Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Bill Sherman (music director for Sesame Street; orchestrator for In the Heights); lyrics by Obie Award winner Kirsten Childs (The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin) and Rajiv Joseph, direction by multiple Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Hamilton, Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights), and co-choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton, Bandstand) and Stephanie Klemons (In the Heights). Fly will run February 18 - March 29 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.
