The Providence Performing Arts Center has announced that legendary singer, songwriter, and producer Smokey Robinson will make his PPAC premiere in Smokey – Music & Memories, an intimate concert on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 8P. 

They've starred in some of the most well-known Broadway productions in history, including “Rent,” “Anything Goes,” “The Lion King,” “Color Purple,” and for one week they'll perform some of their greatest showstopping hits on the Whitefish stage. Alpine Theatre Project's Broadway Concert Series runs July 30 - August 2 at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center.

Legendary GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson has released his new single “How You Make Me Feel” across all streaming platforms. A traditional and timeless R&B love song, “How You Make Me Feel,” stays true to the Smokey that we have come to know and love. The new nine-track album is Smokey’s first solo album in almost a decade.

The forthcoming album is a collection of songs that effortlessly encapsulates Smokey’s timeless R&B and soul sound he is best known around the world for. This holiday season Broadway and Opera star, N'Kenge will make her highly-anticipated debut with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra to headline Home for the Holidays, a special three-day holiday concert series. The performances will take place on November 25th, 26th and 27th, 2022 at Bass Performance Hall.

Robinson wrote and produced hits for other Motown greats including The Temptations, Mary Wells, Brenda Holloway, Marvin Gaye and others. “The Way You Do the Things You Do,” “My Girl,” “Get Ready,” “You Beat Me to the Punch,” “Don’t Mess with Bill,” “Ain’t That Peculiar,” and “My Guy” are just a few of his songwriting triumphs.
