While Harrison Ford, Martin Scorsese, Todd Haynes, Natalie Portman, Wes Anderson and more made for the glitziest Cannes Film Festival in recent memory, Conley Entertainment Group (CEG), which recently announced a $100 million equity fund with plans to produce two feature films per year beginning in 2024, was the talk of the town.
The Hollywood Museum played host to a spectacular photo exhibit, for Mother's Day to pay homage to the matriarchs of the MOTION PICTURE MOTHERS organization and the most celebrated working moms in entertainment with loving and amusing images with their families. 'Who Murdered Love?' by Lissa Moira and Richard West is a Dadaist musical comedy set in 1924 New York City and in a Paris dreamscape. Its story follows WWI veteran and private eye 'Sleepy' Sam Speed, his girl, Gail Friday and his junior detective, Everett Greene, as they attempt to unravel the disappearance and possible murder of DaDa Love at the behest of their client, a stunning heiress named Honey Potts.

Cast slated to appear in the series will include Rosanna Arquette (Florida Man, Love is Love is Love), Melinda McGraw (Mad Men and The Dark Knight), Frank Grillo (Kingdom, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard), Dennis Haysbert (Lucifer, The Unit), and Dee Wallace (E.T., Cujo).

In honor of Women's History Month and Oscar weekend, Heartland Films, Inc., Cloud 21 PR International and Kultura PR International presented 'Women Filmmakers Showcase 2022,' a special panel event held at Laemmle Film Center Santa Monica on Oscar weekend.
