Chris Lingner

Chris Lingner began his career joining the 209-08-2009 National Tour of Twyla Tharp's "Moving Out", dancing the principal roles of Eddie and James, making him one of the youngest to ever dance these roles. Lingner then joined the first full-length Broadway show to hit the high seas in "Hairspray" as Brad, and was a featured aerialist in the revue show Come Fly With Me, on the Oasis of the Seas with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Lingner also performed with Las Vegas star Clint Holmes in his new musical My Own Song, as well as Guys and Dolls in 2012. Lingner has been a featured guest artist with Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre, Indianapolis School of Ballet and in the Young Stars of Ballet Gala, presented by Indianapolis City Ballet. In 2012, Sonya Tayeh created a new work on him for an NFL Super Bowl-sponsored benefit. Lingner has attended summer workshops at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Nederlands Dans Theatre. Linger studied ballet in the Jacob's School of Music at Indiana University, where his repertoire included works by Michael Vernon, Dwight Rhoden, Twyla Tharp, Josh Bergasse, Nicolo Fonte, Violette Verdy, Paul Taylor, August Bournonville, Peter Martins and George Balanchine. Lingner was made a member of the Actor's Equity Association in 2012, and could not be happier to be making his debut during the 2013-2014 50th Anniversary Season with Cincinnati Ballet.

Chris is a producer in the current broadway revival of ON THE TOWN playing at the Lyric Theater.
