There are just two weeks left to experience Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, in a new production by Ruth Stage at The Theater at St. Clements. Directed by Joe Rosario (Flowers for Algernon), this is the first production of the Tennessee Williams play that his estate has allowed to be produced Off-Broadway. This production will close August 14, as scheduled.

The Town Hall presents Celebrating the Music of Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye on September 2 at 8pm. This evening of song features Carla Cooke, Sam’s daughter; Garfield Fleming, who toured with the Delfonics and William Hart for more than 25 years; and Brian Owens, who’s rendition of Sam Cooke’s A Change is Gonna Come has 81 million views on YouTube.
The Wooster Group to Present GET YOUR ASS IN THE WATER AND SWIM LIKE ME in September

59E59 Theaters and Oberon Theatre Ensemble announced casting for The Memory Exam by Steven Fechter and directed by Terrence O’Brien. The cast of The Memory Exam will include Alfred Gingold (Equus) as Hank, Gus Kaikkonen (House of Mirth) as Tom, Bekka Lindström (The Sky Inside) as Jen and Vernice Miller (Eve’s Song) as Dale. 
The Sol Project Announces Complete Schedule for SOLFEST 2022 in August

The Sol Project, the national theater initiative dedicated to amplifying Latiné voices and building a body of work for the new American theater, announced full details for the fifth annual SolFest: A Latiné Theatre Festival, produced in partnership with (Pregones/PRTT). This year’s top 30 playwrights were chosen from over 650 submissions around the world.
