Jackie Mason returns to the Forum Theatre stage before making his way back to the Great White Way. Fans will get a sneak peak of Mason's upcoming 2010 tour when he takes the stage on Tuesday, December 8th at 8 p.m.

Jackie Mason is widely regarded as one of the greatest stand-up comics of all time. As an actor, he has performed in several movies, TV and Broadway Shows and has won numerous Tony and Emmy awards. As a comedian, he has been called "extraordinary" and "brilliant," and he is well known in the entertainment industry as the standard to whom all others are compared. Mason reached the apex of American entertainment culture when he became a regular performer on the nation's preeminent television variety program, The Ed Sullivan Show. Mason's stand-up routine is now more popular than ever, combining pungent political satire, insightful observations on the foibles of modern life and impeccable timing to create material that leaves audiences laughing until they cry and critics raving show after show. Well known and beloved around the world, Mason has been honored by many including South African President Nelson Mandela, the United Kingdom's Oxford University, and scores of other organizations. In 1991, during the first Persian Gulf crisis, Jackie closed his show on Broadway and traveled to Israel in a show of solidarity that was later honored by now former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Long passionate about politics, Jackie Mason is well known for his tough and outspoken positions on a variety of issues-no one or nobody is safe. He hosts a national live call-in show on the Comcast network and hosted a nationally syndicated radio talk show with his friend and collaborator, Raoul Lionel Felder.

About The Forum: The convenience of this historic theatre's location, coupled with affordable quality entertainment, is an incentive for supporters of the arts, near and far, to travel to the brainy Borough of Metuchen to satisfy their entertainment needs. The Forum Theatre has been the Cultural Arts Center of Metuchen since 1928, when it was built and utilized as a Vaudeville tryout house and community theatre. At the height of its success, The Forum was a thriving regional theatre presenting a vast array of top-notch entertainment. After a two-year hiatus, this historic landmark venue is undergoing a grass-roots revival returning headliner and regional live theatre, musicals, concerts, films and more to its Central New Jersey base. The theatre also serves as a host for special events, presentations and meetings. This fall, the Forum will be offering classes in stage acting, improvisation, scene study, stand-up comedy, screen writing and more, in addition to instrumental music lessons, to enhance the community's access to the arts for both children and adults. The theatre is conveniently located two blocks from the train station and is easily accessible via mass transit. A list of upcoming shows follows.
