Missoula Community Theatre Cancels MATILDA

MCT's Executive Director, Michael McGill, has announced the final decision to cancel the Missoula Community Theatre's Matilda. The production was previously scheduled for this past spring as the final show of the 2019-2020 season but was postponed until October 2020 due to Covid-19. The hope was for it to be produced as originally intended---with a cast and crew of nearly 50 children and adult volunteers, playing to full houses of 300 patrons for a three-week run.

The University of Montana School of Theatre and Dance is pleased to announce it will continue to create and share the work of students, faculty, staff and guest artists during COVID-19 thanks to virtual screenings. The mainstage season and Studio Series for fall 2020 will be presented online through the ticketing platform ShowTixs4U. Shows will be recorded, and purchased tickets will grant online access to each production on specific dates and at specific curtain times.

Missoula Children's Theatre Announces Bonus Day Camps!

As the saying goes, the only thing constant is change. And 2020 has brought nothing but change, including the Missoula Children's Theatre August Bonus Camp schedule at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts. These innovative, half-day camps will take place one week only - Monday through Friday, Aug. 10-14. Registration is limited to 20 participants per camp, and registration is open at www.MCTinc.org! All current safety protocols of social distancing, wearing masks, frequent handwashing, and sanitizing of the facility are in place, for the safety of the day camp participants.
