Oh, what a story. Frankie Valli, who came to fame in 1962 as the lead singer of the Four Seasons, is hotter than ever in the 21st century. Thanks to the volcanic success of the Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys, which chronicles the life and times of Frankie and his legendary group, such classic songs as "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Walk Like a Man," "Rag Doll," and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" are all the rage all over again.

THE FANTASTICKS Beloved Musical To Play Palm Beach Dramaworks

West Palm Beach's only resident professional theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks, will present "The Fantasticks" - known around the globe as the world's longest running musical by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt - as their summer offering, opening Friday, July 13th (8PM) for a strictly limited engagement at the new Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis Street). Special priced preview performances are slated for July 11th & 12th with regularly scheduled curtain times through August 5th.
HAMLET Opera/Soundtheatre Opens March 2

The classic full-length ballet Swan Lake will be performed in four acts by Moscow Festival Ballet at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Tues. Feb. 28 @ 8:00 PM. The music for Swan Lake is by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikowski and choreography is by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. Swan Lake premiered: March 4, 1877 Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow, and his since been made infamous. The inspired story has regenerated itself throughout the years in popular culture with films like the animated 1994 children's favorite The Swan Princess and of course the much darker Black Swan, 2010.

Ken Ludwig is an internationally acclaimed playwright whose many hits on Broadway, in London's West End and throughout the world have made his name synonymous with modern comedy. He has had six shows on Broadway and six in the West End, and he has won the Laurence Olivier Award, England's highest theatre honor, as well as three Tony Award nominations and two Helen Hayes Awards. His work has been commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company and has been performed in thirty countries in over twenty languages. Ken Ludwig is also the author of the popular Lend Me a Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo.

Returning to the Royal Room for the first time since 2007, Tom Wopat first came to public attention in the late-1970s as the freewheeling Luke Duke on the TV series The Dukes of Hazzard. In 1977, he made his Broadway debut in Cy Coleman's I Love My Wife. Wopat went on to perform in the Tony Award-winning City of Angels and Guys and Dolls. He received a Tony nomination for creating the role of Frank Butler in the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun, opposite Bernadette Peters.
