Premierenreport: Tiroler Landestheater startet mit SPAMALOT in die neue Spielzeit

(09/15/2015) - MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT erzahlt in außerst ungewohnlicher Form die legendare Geschichte von Konig Artus und den Rittern der Tafelrunde. Es beruht auf der mittlerweile klassischen Filmkomodie Monty Python and the Holy Grail (deutscher Titel: Die Ritter der Kokosnuss), handelt von Rittern und ihren verqueren Heldentaten und „bietet eine Menge schoner Girls, Kuhe, Killerkaninchen und Franzosen', so Eric Idle. Das Grundungsmitglied des unvergleichlichen Monty Python-Teams hat die Filmhandlung fur das Musical verandert, bleibt aber dem schragen Monty-Python-Humor treu. Auch die Filmmusik wurde von ihm und John Du Prez fur das Musical umgearbeitet: teils neu komponiert, teils musikalisch aufgefrischt. Premiere am Tiroler Landestheater wurde am vergangenen Samstag gefeiert, und sowohl Publikum als auch Presse waren begeistert.

Alle geben tagtaglich ihr Bestes, um ihrem Leben einen Sinn zu verleihen, einen Job und die große Liebe zu finden - und die ist in der AVENUE Q genauso schon und genauso kompliziert wie anderswo. Vielleicht ist sie sogar noch ein bisschen komplizierter, denn die Bewohner der AVENUE Q sind nur zum Teil Menschen. Überwiegend sind sie Puppen, und deren Ähnlichkeit mit den Stars der „Sesamstraße' ist keineswegs zufallig. Am Theater Hagen erlebt dieses Kult-Stuck derzeit seine NRW-Premiere. Thus here he sits in Westbahnof, pretending to wait for a connection, eating a croissant, and typing his blog post on his airplane mode iPhone (to avoid roaming). That's right, there is no laptop when RyanAir (a cheap European airline) had the strictest weight restrictions imaginable.

Die Hauptdarsteller Annemieke Van Dam, Mark Seibert, Kurosch Abbasi, Daniela Ziegler, Franziskus Hartenstein, Anton Zetterholm, Carin Filipcic und Christian Peter Hauser freuen sich bereits auf die kommenden sechs Wochen Probenarbeit und auf die große Gala-Premiere, die am 5. September im RAIMUND THEATER zwanzig Jahre nach der Uraufführung stattfinden wird.

(02/10/2012) - Premiere hatte das Stück von Botho Strauß 1978. Legendär das Ganze - Schaubühne Berlin, Edith Clever als Lotte, Regie Peter Stein. Wie keine zweite Figur ist Strauß' Lotte zum Sinnbild der alten BRD geworden. Westdeutschland war das damals, dazu noch das halbe Berlin. Und alle, die drin leben, mehr oder weniger arrangiert, wohlsituiert, seltsam heimatlos. Dazwischen irrlichtert Lotte, „the holy fool', wie der Sydney Morning Herald schreibt, der heilige Narr, in dem sich alles spiegelt. „Breathless', für einen Augenblick atemlos still, ist der Saal nach der Premiere in Sydney gewesen. Das macht neugierig auf die Verwandlung, die mit dem Stück in der Bearbeitung des englischen Dramatikers Martin Crimp geschehen ist. Es ist, als ob man etwas scheinbar Vertrautes durch die umgekehrte Seite des Fernglases betrachtet. Alles rückt ins Jetzt, in dem vieles ähnlich und doch eigentlich alles anders ist. „Bekannte Gesichter, gemischte Gefühle.' Cate Blanchett war 2008 mit ihrer Inszenierung von Blackbird bei den Ruhrfestspielen. Damals wurde die Idee zu diesem faszinierenden Projekt geboren.

The two were introduced by a friend of Rosen's, who wasn't able to make the wedding, as a result of the weather and warnings throughout all the boroughs. The BroadwayWorld.com News Desk stayed feverish all weekend while the couple said 'I Do', as news was coming fast about theatre cancellations, schedule changes and travel advisories in addition to all things that were happening in other parts of the country and the world, not affected by the Northeast's local weather.
