The Naples Players Announce Auditions For The Broadway Hit Musical MAMMA MIA!
The Naples Players (TNP) announce open auditions for the hit Broadway musical, Mamma Mia!, based on the incredible songs of ABBA, on Saturday, April 13, 2018 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at The Naples Players Sugden Community Theatre at 701 5th Avenue South.
Over 60 million people worldwide have fallen in love with the characters, the story, and the music that make Mamma Mia! the ultimate feel-good show. ABBA's music tells the uplifting tale of a young woman seeking the identity of her father for her wedding and brings the three potential men from her mother's past back to the Grecian island they visited 20 years ago.
The story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter, friendship, and sisterhood, creating an unforgettable show. Hit songs include: "Mamma Mia," "Money, Money, Money," "Dancing Queen," and "Voulez-Vous" among others.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Rehearsals begin Monday, May 6, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. and performances run Wednesdays - Sundays, June 26, 2019 - July 28, 2019. There is a special Sensory-Friendly Mamma Mia! performance scheduled on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. The Naples Players is seeking to cast six women (ages 20s-50s), six men (ages 20s-50s), and additional singing and dancing ensemble members with featured roles. The Naples Players auditions are open to all interested persons. All that is required is the desire to be involved in a production and the willingness to commit your time and effort to the project.
