About PORTLAND BALLET
Founded in 1980, Portland Ballet is Maine’s professional ballet company. Under the artistic direction of Nell Shipman, Portland Ballet presents classical and neo-classical story ballets as well as contemporary works, and attracts professional dancers from around the country as well as internationally. The affiliated Portland School of Ballet is home to the leading classical training in Maine. Our goal at PSB is to create a healthy environment for all students to learn the art of ballet. We are determined to help our dancers set and reach goals, while at the same time assisting with the development of their artistry.Related Articles
