About this studio
Maine Dance Center is a recreational dance studio that also fields an award-winning competitive team, MDC Elite. Long based in the Raymond shopping plaza, the school has moved to a new home at 765 Roosevelt Trail in North Windham on Route 302, which opened in June with a ribbon-cutting, free classes and an Elite Team performance featuring Maine Dance Company professionals. Training covers ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and acrobatics, with separate schedules for ages 2 to 5, ages 6 and up, and teens and adults, running through both the summer and the school year. The studio's stated mission is to train exceptional artists and inspire extraordinary lives, with students building confidence, discipline and creativity alongside technique.
