About this studio
Portland Ballet is a 501(c)(3) non-profit at 517 Forest Ave, Portland, Maine, describing itself as Maine's professional ballet company and home to the leading classical training in the state. Its mission is to enrich Maine communities through ballet performance, education and experiences, and its season includes Dracula, A Victorian Nutcracker, the family-oriented A Very Nutty Nutcracker, New Works and Sylvia. The affiliated Portland School of Ballet teaches Young Dancer classes for ages 1 to 7, a Junior Division for ages 7 to 11, a Senior Division for ages 11 and up, an all-ages Community Division, open classes for teens and adults, and an audition-only Pre-Professional Division, plus summer programs and the Ballet for All outreach program.
