About this studio
Academy of Dance is a family-focused studio at 567 Elm Street in Biddeford, Maine, running two Biddeford studios and describing itself as one of York County's largest dance schools with the widest range of affordable tuition in the area; 2025-2026 is its 22nd season. It teaches children and adults - students currently range from age 2 to 83 - in creative movement, rhythm and movement, tap, ballet and pointe, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, acro, tumbling tots, technique, turn and leap, pre-team classes and, newly added, breakdance, adult tap and a production routine. Private solo, duet and trio coaching is offered. Class sizes are small, viewing areas replace observation days, and every student performs in the annual children's Nutcracker and year-end recital.
