About this studio
Brio Dance Studio, based in Portland, Maine, takes its name from the Italian word for enthusiastic vigour. Rather than operating from a single building, it delivers classes through community centers, municipal recreation programs, schools and daycares across the Greater Portland area, including Cape Elizabeth Community Services, Cumberland/North Yarmouth Recreation at the North Yarmouth Community Center, the Westbrook Community Center, Yarmouth Community Services, The Back Cove School, The Willow School and Yarmouth Day Care. Its program starts with Grown Up & Me for 18 months to 3 years, Bouncing Buds, Spinning Sprouts and Move & Groove for 2-5 year olds, then graded ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical ballet, hip hop and acro classes running into the teens.
