Amanda's Academy of Dance is a studio at 329 Division Street on the south edge of downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin, owned and directed by Amanda Verthein. It teaches Irish, lyrical, hip hop (including a boys-only class), musical theatre, tap, jazz, ballet, modern, pointe and acro, with a Twinkle Twos class for the youngest dancers and a separate adult program; many students begin as toddlers and stay through high school. The studio emphasises small classes, longer class lengths and in-house instructor training, and offers custom classes for large groups such as Girl Scouts or wedding parties, couples classes and one-to-one lessons.
