About this studio
Bella Beauties Dance Studio is a women-owned, minority-owned studio on West Good Hope Road in Glendale, on Milwaukee's north side. Its stated goal is to build character in young people first and then teach dance. Director Chrystal Lester has taught for more than 15 years and specializes in hip hop and jazz, with awards for her choreography; other faculty teach jazz, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, technique and heels, and coach the Junior Company jazz and hip hop teams that compete around Wisconsin. Classes run on a published season schedule at a flat monthly rate with multi-class discounts. The studio also hosts themed two-hour birthday parties and ends its season with a recital sponsored by the Bella Gail Foundation.
