5678 Dance Studio

5-6-7-8 Dance Studio at 1260 Milton Ave, Suite 160 in Janesville, Wisconsin, has been teaching dance in its community since 1975 and is marking 20 years under its current ownership. It offers classes for ages 2 through adult, grouped by age and ability from beginner to advanced and pre-professional, and builds schedules around families' stated availability. The studio balances technique and discipline with enjoyment, and runs an all-inclusive competition team with no try-outs that attends several competitions each year. Classes run through the school year with an annual recital in May, plus multiple summer sessions. Staff hold memberships and teaching certification with Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, the Wisconsin Dance Council and NDEO, host a National Honor Society of Dance Arts chapter, and are certified in Acrobatic Arts AcroDance and Rhythm Works Integrative Dance for students with learning differences. Community outreach includes school, club, group and nursing-home programs and birthday parties.
