Barb's Centre For Dance

Barb's Center for Dance operates two Wisconsin studios, in Green Bay on Holmgren Way and in the Fox Valley on Mayflower Drive in Appleton, serving both recreational and competitive dancers of all ages and abilities. The school runs a 30-week Fall/Spring session beginning the first full week after Labor Day and ending in early May with the annual recital, Spring Celebration of Dance, plus a summer session that includes a one-week dance camp, a four-week traditional program and a mid-August strength and flexibility focus. Classes begin with Two-Year-Old Movement and progress through tap/pre-ballet combinations, tap and jazz, Hippity Hop for ages 4 to 6, hip hop, and conditioning, flexibility, leaps and turns. The affiliated Ballet 360 Academy provides flexible ballet training at both locations, tumbling classes run at Fox Valley, and No Limits Dance is an adaptive all-abilities class for ages 5 and up with developmental or physical disabilities. The studio also fields a competition dance program and stages a holiday show, Spirit of the Holidays.
