Praised by Pat Metheny as "maybe the best jazz guitar player I've heard in my entire life," Pasquale Grasso has established himself as one of the most innovative musical voices of his generation. His classical technique, jazz phrasing, bebop rhythms, and fret work have distinguished him as a celebrated 21st century virtuoso, and he has recorded 11 albums on the Sony Masterworks label in solo-guitar format. Grasso also performed on vocalist Samara Joy's first two Grammy-winning recordings, Linger Awhile and Samara Joy. He performs at Birdland Jazz Club with his trio.
