Steven Feifke, the youngest artist ever to win a Grammy in the Large Ensemble category for his 2022 album Generation Gap Jazz Orchestra, performs in an intimate trio format. A two-time Thelonious Monk Competition finalist and recipient of the 2020 David Baker Prize in composition from the Ravinia Festival, Feifke uses the pared-down configuration as a vehicle for bluesy, daredevil improvisations. He holds Artist-in-Residence positions at Juilliard, NYU, Yale, and Jazz at Lincoln Center, and has recording credits on upwards of 45 albums.
