As a pre-holiday season treat for kids and families, the heroic adventures of ROBIN HOOD will be presented "Live on Stage" at Cortland Repertory Theatre Downtown! The Traveling Lantern Theatre Company brings their talents to Cortland with this exciting and interactive one-time-only performance, to be held on Sunday, November 5 at 2:00 at CRT Downtown, 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland. General Admission tickets are $7.00 per person.

Kids ages 5 - 105 will experience the exuberant tale of Robin Hood and his Merry Men as they jauntily escape from the clutches of the evil Sheriff of Nottingham! The classic tale is re-imagined with just two actors and includes participation by the children in the audience. Seating will be "picnic style" on carpet - donated by RH Osbourne World of Floor Covering, and 1st Class Tile and Flooring - with the actors performing in and around the audience. Following the performance, there will be a Question and Answer session between the audience and actors, for inquiring minds who want to know more about Robin Hood, or how the actors perform the show.

Later in the year, the Traveling Lantern Theatre Company will return to Cortland with "The Story of Ebenezer Scrooge" on Sunday, December 10 at 2:00 PM. This company has been educating and entertaining children all over the country since 1985, with a mission to bring great stories to children, to draw them into an active theater
experience, to excite their minds and to tickle their imaginations.

Tickets for both productions are currently available by calling 800-427-6160, by visiting the Box Office at CRT Downtown, or online through the CRT website at www.cortlandrep.org.
