Since you didn't include a link, I went to her Twitter to scout this out. I don't quite know what to make of her responses, but I'm not so sure that it implies she's an anti-vaxer. It is....something though. I can't quite get a clear idea of what her central viewpoint is. It seems like she takes issue with people getting pressured into getting the vaccine, and she specifically argued that Javi was presenting a "logical fallacy" in that he himself will never be in danger from Osnes because he personally isn't around her? I don't think that was what Javi was saying, but hmm.
She says things like this: "The strength of the USA is in people’s right to choose."
But then she also says things like: "Because IF @LauraOsnes succumbed & died, she would simply be forgotten" As well as - "Agnotology and Fanaticism are present in both the #Ant-Vax and #Vaxxed community. No good come from either"
Really don't know what to make of this regarding her actual position on the COVID vaccine, but it's clear she doesn't like the culture around it on either side.
She’s notorious for being difficult. A lot of I had written off as more misogyny and racism, but hearing how she was during 2020 confirms that she’s just a person who lives to challenge and argue.
Tonya Pinkins needs to seriously check herself. Javier's open letter to Laura was about having a conversation and not about shaming. So homegirl decides to go on twitter and try to shame Javier?
She needs to step away from the keyboard, power off all her devices and chill.
What the heck is up with her??? She posted this on Twitter:
“I have been sitting bed side for 4 days with a friend who is actively Dying. All the woulda, coulda, shoulda is BS.The best part of America is freedom of choice which is under threat. If you value it for yourself, value it for everyone. @JMunozActor @LauraOsnes”
And then she posted a story about 7 vaccinated Florida patients dying from Covid.

I guess I’ve been blind to her ignorance. I remember the Tonya who rallied for Off bway wages to be increased so actors and actresses to make a living wage.
She’s unhinged, always has been. I don’t care how talented she is (controversial but…she’s had one great role, the rest have been downright bad), I hope she never returns to Broadway.

Did you fall off the Turnip Truck yesterday? Ms Pinkins won a Tony for Jelly's Last Jam.
I never really had much of an opinion on Javier Munoz but he has shown a lot of grace during this flare-up with both Pinkins and Osnes. The reality is that shaming people online for being anti-vax is not going to change one mind. But engaging in conversation could and Munoz seems genuinely interested in trying to have a conversation instead of getting into the mud.
Javier is the only one who come out looking good here and he is genuinely interested in a dialogue. Although he is open about it, the man is HIV+ and has survived cancer twice (the latter while still part of the OBC of Hamilton), so he has the best leg to stand on when it comes to speaking truth to power about people refusing vaccines and the risk it poses to people like him who are immunocompromised

Amen. Osnes thinks shes being a "conservative" and Pinkins is--and always has been--off her rocker. Munoz isnt in the same league with his cogent points, calm narrative and general good will.
(also, Pinkins may be batty but shes an incredible performer, and Caroline was not her only triumph, as someone suggested above)

^This. Javier knows of what he speaks. As a woman named Kate replied to him on Twitter,he is a class act. One reason among many why I appreciate his recent posts is that my mother is immunocompromised due to an illness called C.diff. She is fully vaccinated, but I still try to protect her as best I can. It's nice to know that someone who is well-known and has a large public presence is using it for good.
