There's definitely a great show in here somewhere, I laughed a ton so I hope they made it a bit more coherent. I wish they let Caruso keep her blonde hair for Broadway.

God, I loved this show, but it went off the rails after the 3rd season. The episodes in CMT were horrible.
That being said, the overall plot would work well as a musical. The show had some great tunes. Count me in.

If this happens, I hope it goes the more thin plot-revue style route (almost like Movin’ Out). Some opportunities for great spectacle and dancing, without being constrained to a shoe-Horned plot

Oh trust me, I agree (I saw it in DC). For some reason, this show has brought out more “give it a chance!!” responses, when 3 cities already have.

Then yes, that is what it means. There’s not exactly a definitive check list on what constitutes a semi-staged production, but script use falls under it

This series is semi staged (meaning not full productions). Scripts are normal. For all intents and purposes, these productions are 90% staged.
