There was quite a big to-do regarding Slave Play when it was playing off-broadway, but I knew I wasn’t going to see it so didn’t look into the details. Maybe I will now. I knew this announcement would re-ignite that conversation though. Yikes.

Nothing from Johnson will ever come to Broadway. He does shows for the “Seasoning Circuit.”
Also Mathew is a sleaze. Apparently he was connected to some recent leaks of photos of Beyoncé’s children, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they were on the outs again.
He’s also making some kind of interactive Destinys Child game or something. I truly believe that the girls would have recorded a song or two by now, but Mathew owns the rights to the group so they don’t want him to profit.
