Actor/writer Tulis McCall adds singer to her list of talents with her newest show, Tulis Talks and Sings, which returns, after its debut in October, to the nightclub stage at Don’t Tell Mama in December and January.

The Wiener Staatsoper website reported recently that beginning next week, performances at the Wiener Staatsoper Opera House will continue to run, but with stricter coronavirus restrictions.

 As the lights come up on Broadway, so too will they brighten the stage at Phillips’ Mill on Saturday, November 20, at 7 pm, with a live play reading­ –– to a live audience –– the first since the pandemic closed theater doors.  

November 26 through December 5, Pontine Theatre presents, A New England Christmas, an annual event featuring the work of favorite regional authors.  This year the program includes two seasonal stories:  Honey & Myrrh (1898) by Hampton Falls’ Alice Brown and The Old Peabody Pew (1905) by Buxton, Maine’s Kate Douglas Wiggin.

Claire Dickson began recording the music for her debut album, Starland, while sailing on a tall ship in the Arctic Circle. The anchor was dropped near a beach covered with rocks, and as Dickson listened in darkness to the waves on the rocks she imagined a harmony to mimic and accompany the sound

On November 16, TSquared Production Company will present an online reading of the hilariously dire Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. One of Tom Stoppard’s most beloved works, #RandGaredead tells the tale of Hamlet through the worm's eye view of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two bewildered (and painfully minor) characters.

The Encore Musical Theatre Company has just announced that Jason Briggs has joined their staff in the role of Managing Director. Briggs comes to The Encore with both a BA in Theatre Performance, and a master’s degree in Marketing and Innovative Management from The University of Michigan-Flint.

A stage adaptation of the classic story written by Kenneth Grahame, Wind in the Willows is a musical retelling adapted for the stage by Richard Hellesen with music and lyrics by Michael Silversher.

Lyndon Terracini for Opera Australia and John Frost for Crossroads Live today announced that the Tony® Award-winning Broadway production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella will play at Melbourne's Regent Theatre from 20 May next year, and at the Sydney Lyric Theatre from 23 October.
