Shawnee on Delaware, PA – The Shawnee Playhouse, celebrating its forty-sixth season, presents The Shawnee Playhouse Christmas Spectacular, from November 22nd through December 21st, 2025. Directed by Midge McClosky, this festive musical revue stars veteran top talent from The Poconos and surrounding areas, including Emma Christmann, Johanna Gelbs, Gabriel Soto, Taryn Gilbert, Jorne Gilbert, Teara Gilbert, Tasia Gilbert, and Jewel Gilbert. Additionally, this holiday spectacular will feature Amelia Meissner, Joseph Mowad, McKenna Lobb, Nanci Kline, Raelyn Fulmer, Sarah Farmer, Isla Rodriguez, and Faith Fox. There will be a different, seasoned, guest soloist at every show, so each and every performance will be its own unique and joyful experience. A special meet-and-greet with Santa Claus is also included for guests after each performance as well!
The Shawnee Playhouse Christmas Spectacular is a fun-for-the-whole-family musical revue, where patrons will enjoy belting along to their favorite holiday hits with the playhouse’s all-star cast of singers, dancers, and story-tellers. This festive, holiday musical showcases dancing elves, singing reindeer, and features a special visit from Kris Kringle, with a special meet-and-greet with the big man himself, after every show. This show is guaranteed to put audiences in the Christmas spirit and spread holiday cheer and warmth throughout the cold, winter months!
The Shawnee Playhouse Christmas Spectacular will showcase different, gifted, guest artists at every performance, so every show will have its own festive, holiday feel. These performers include Midge McClosky (11/22 at 7pm), Elyssa Pemu (11/23 at 3pm), Jordan Oney (11/28 at 2pm), Shannon Felletter (11/28 at 7pm), Vale Rideout (11/29 at 2pm), Nikki Cohen (11/29 at 7pm), Alex Miller (11/30 at 3pm), Naomi Naughton (12/5 at 2pm), and Mary Bolan (12/6 at 2pm). This heartwarming, holiday extravaganza will also feature Kasper Valentin (12/6 at 7pm), Deanna Badik (12/7 at 3pm), Joseph Ambrosia (12/13 at 2pm), Jules Gindraux (12/13 at 7pm), Ryan Fogler (12/14 at 3pm), Fusia Center for the Performing Arts (12/19 at 2pm), In2YouArts (12/20 at 2pm), Rob Howell (12/20 at 7pm), and Anna Lee Paige (12/21 at 3pm).
Produced by Charles and Ginny Kirkwood, and under the executive direction of Midge McClosky, this captivating rendition also features a veteran technical team, including Barbara Beltz as costumer, Skipper DeBlasio as stage manager, EM DeBlasio as tech operator, Chris Hnasko as lighting designer, Kenneth Card as promotional photographer, Bobby McClosky as media manager, and Samantha Cameron as press writer.

10:00am: December 4th and 12th
2:00pm: November 28th, 29th, and December 5th, 6th, 13th, 19th, and 20th
3:00pm: November 23rd, 30th, and December 7th, 14th, and 21st
7:00pm: November 22nd, 28th, 29th, and December 6th, 13th, and 20th
Tickets are $35.00 each for adults, $30.00 each for seniors, and $20.00 each for children seventeen and under.
Meal and a Show tickets are $61.00 per adult, $50.00 for children ages thirteen to seventeen years old, and $35.00 for children ages four to twelve years old.
