New York Comedy Club has announced a new headliner series to begin Monday, April 3, 2017.

The Quartlerly will feature four of the city's hottest comedians, each doing an hour long headlining set throughout the week and all appearing together on two showcases Saturday April 8. Nore Davis, Bonnie McFarlane, Yamaneika Saunders and Paul Virzi have been tapped to kick off the series, which will take place four times throughout the year with a New Group of headliners each quarter.

Tickets for all shows are available at newyorkcomedyclub.com/shows/the-quarterly.

"We're very excited about this event. Since Scott Lindner and I took ownership of the club in 2014, we've worked to create a vibrant community of comedians and fans. We're at a place now where the club has matured, and so have the comedians we work with, so it seemed like a natural time to start celebrating that." says co-owner Emilio Savone.

The duo purchased the club in 2014, rehabilitating the space with a complete renovation, while maintaining many of the classic elements such as the brick wall behind the stage and candlelit nightclub style seating. Both comedians and audiences alike have responded to the changes. The club has seen explosive growth, doubling the number of showtimes per week and now hosting some of the hottest independent shows in New York, including Nacho Bitches, Hot Soup, On The Offensive, Roast Battle NYC, SiriusXM's Paid or Pain, SiriusXM's The Check Spot and Stand-Up On The Spot.

Talent coordinator Amy Hawthorne adds, "I'm really excited about this series. We've worked to make ourselves a home for everyone from comedians just starting out to superstars, but I think these four really hit a sweet spot on the upper end of that spectrum. They're all experienced pros, with television appearances and popular podcasts that have drawn lots of fans. And more importantly, as stand-ups they are all tremendous! But most City audiences don't get the opportunity to see their full range in the normal 15-20 minute sets. I'm just so thrilled to give people this chance to see something special from these incredibly talented folks."

Nore Davis has been doing stand up comedy since he was in college and it shows. Now a highly respected comedian throughout the country, his slow burn style packs a big punch that gives new meaning the the phrase "killing them softly." Nore has made appearances on "Inside Amy Schumer," "The Guestlist," "Boardwalk Empire," MTV, BET and covered the elections for Seriously.tv. His album "Home Game" is available on iTunes and Spotify.

Bonnie McFarlane is undisputedly one of the top comedians in the country. Since her stand-out appearance on the original "Last Comic Standing," Bonnie has appeared on just about every late night show around, released the hilarious documentary "Women Aren't Funny," and currently co-hosts the wildly popular podcast "My Wife Hates Me" with husband and fellow comedian Rich Vos.

Yamaneika Saunders first caught America's eye with a memorable appearance on the reboot of "Last Comic Standing," followed quickly by her standout performance on Oxygen's "Funny Girls." Her high energy, no bullshit style landed her a gig as a regular correspondent on "The Meredith Vieira Show" and she has appeared on Comedy Central's "Roast Battle" and TruTV's "Comedy Knockout." Her podcast "Rantin' and Ravin'" is available on iTunes and Soundcloud.

Paul Virzi has amassed a massive following thanks to his wildly popular podcast, "The Virzi Effect." A sports fan at heart, Virzi has contributed on- and off-air to "The ESPY Awards" and The NFL Network's "Good Morning Football." He regularly tours the country with Bill Burr, showcasing a his smart aleck everyman style. His first album "Night at The Stand" hit #1 on the iTunes comedy chart and he will be filming his first hour special this spring.

New York Comedy Club has been serving up the best comedy in the city to the Gramercy neighborhood and all of Manhattan since 1989. Under new ownership since 2014, NYCC features a nightly showcase of the best talent in the city, plus special guests from Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, Boston, Austin, and around the world. The club also hosts numerous popular special events and shows, including Roast Battle NYC, Nacho Bitches, and SiriusXM's Paid or Pain and The Check Spot.
