We speak to comedian Andrew Ryan about his 2016 Edinburgh Fringe show Ruined.

Tell us a bit about Ruined
The show is about me realising that I'm my own worst enemy.

What have you been up to since your run at the Fringe last year?
Educating myself on food and realising I've been eating the wrong type of food for the past 30 years.

As this is your fourth year at the Fringe, do you think you know what to expect from the festival?
I expect nothing. If people come then great. If they laugh that's great. If nobody comes then that's not great. Overall, I think it will be great. That's what I expect actually - for it to be great.

Who would you recommend Ruined to?
People who are at the festival and looking to watch a show. That would be the dream.

Are there any other shows you¹re hoping to see at the Fringe?
Nick Cody is an ace comic from Australia, and Phill Ellis - both acts I will see in the first week.

Andrew Ryan will be performing Ruined from the 3rd-28th August at Assembly George Square Studios 4 at 7.50pm. Tickets and information are available on the edfringe website.
