(4/21/2015) - Haven Theatre Company closes their 2014 - 2015 Season with the Chicago premiere of Stephen Belber's Don't Go Gentle, directed by Haven Theatre Company Artistic Associate Cody Estle, at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave., May 31 - July 12. (4/21/2015) - First Folio Theatre announces its 2015-16 season, kicking off with the smash hit THE MADNESS OF EDGAR ALLAN POE, running September 23 through November 1, 2015. For its winter show, First Folio presents the World Premiere adaptation of one of the great screwball movie comedies of all time, MY MAN GODFREY, running January 27 through February 28, 2016. The humorously magical FOOLING BUDDHA completes the indoor season, running March 23 through April 24, 2016; and Shakespeare's comedy fantasy A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM takes the outdoor stage for the 20th anniversary of First Folio's Shakespeare Under the Stars summer series, which runs July 9 through August 14, 2016.

(4/21/2015) - The Sarah Siddons Society's Artistic Director, Dominic Missimi, announced plans to bestow on Jessie Mueller the organization's prestigious Actress of the Year Award. Ms. Mueller won a Tony award in 2014 for her performance as Carole King in BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL. The tribute, entitled SO BEAUTIFUL!, will take place on Monday, April 27, 7:30 pm at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire.

(4/21/2015) - Raven Theatre Company to produce Richard Kalinoski's universally celebrated Beast on the Moon CHICAGO - The final play of Raven's 2014-15 season will be Richard Kalinoski's Beast on the Moon, a touching and frequently humorous story of two refugees from the Armenian Genocide as they struggle to build a new life together in 1920's and 1930's Milwaukee. Beast on the Moon begins previews tonight, April 21 and opens on April 27, 2015, playing through June 6.
