Empire has shared an exclusive first look at poster art for director Quentin Tarantino's planned western THE HATEFUL EIGHT. Check it out below!

Recently it was announced that the project had been cancelled, yet news of the new artwork gives hope that the it is still alive and in the planning stages.

The poster does not reveal a release date for the film, other than noting that it will hit theaters in "2015." According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tarantino had reportedly cast Kurt Russell, Walton Goggins and Samuel L. Jackson as possible cast members.

Over the weekend, Tarantino confirmed the news that project was moving forward at Comic-Con in San Diego. The script is rumored to be in its third draft and largely changed from the version that leaked online earlier this year. Production is reportedly going to get underway this winter.
