GLEE 'Too Hot For TV' Christmas Special On The Way? Ryan Murphy Teases Via Twitter!
GLEE co-creator and TV mastermind Ryan Murphy has utilized social media once again to share the first news of a particularly exciting new episode entry in the hit musical dramedy series, especially apt as we now enter the holiday season - an unaired Christmas special!
Earlier today, Murphy took to Twitter to write, "Who wants to see Glee's NEVER BEFORE AIRED Xmas special? Too hot for TV."
So, what precisely could Murphy be referring to with this cryptic new query directed at gleeks around the world? Well, it appears that any gleek's guess is as good as the next until further details are revealed!
Of course, Glee has successfully presented numerous Christmas episodes in the past, including the Grinch-themed Season Two ep "A Very Glee Christmas", as well as released three holiday-themed soundtrack albums during the first four seasons.
Yet, Murphy's Tweet inspires us to inquire: what exactly would make a cool yule celebration "too hot for TV"?! Furthermore, does the episode contain a performance by Glee headliner and recently deceased star Cory Monteith? Since it is previously unaired, one would assume it was shot months, if not years, ago.
Indeed, that could be the most marvelous holiday gift any gleek could wish to see - and hear - beneath the tree this December; a new Cory Monteith Glee moment to remember him by in his passing. In any event, we will have to stay tuned to see!
Until then, let Mr. Murphy know your thoughts and may gleeks around the world band together to make this a reality by the time the snow starts to fall!
