Wes Anderson's MOONRISE KINGDOM to Open Cannes Festival - Selection List Revealed!

MOONRISE KINGDOM, the new film by American Wes Anderson, will open the 65th Festival de Cannes on Wednesday, 16 May in the Grand Théâtre Lumière of the Palais des Festivals, with the Jury presided over by Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti in attendance.

The complete list of competition and Un Certain Regard titles as well as the special and midnight screenings and out-of-competition pictures was revealed yesterday. Out of 1,779 sumitted films, 54 features were chosen. The festival will take place from May 16 - 27.
