Many of Fox Packaging's customers need to comply with retailer mandates and are looking for creative ways to use packaging to engage and excite the shopper. By partnering with HarvestMark, Fox is bringing proven, cutting-edge technology to its customers. HarvestMark Connect codes, which are printed on over a billion items every year, is an intuitive way for shoppers to access rich, relevant, and timely content through their mobile phone. The mobile content, which includes grower profiles, recipes, selection tips, storage and preparation ideas, nutrition information, food safety notifications, and more, puts information shoppers are looking for at their fingertips. In turn, the information provided by shoppers helps growers to improve supply chain efficiencies and measure product performance.

"The HarvestMark platform is becoming a powerful tool that helps our customers sell more and drive shopper loyalty," said Elliott Grant, HarvestMark founder and CTO. "Companies are also taking advantage of the HarvestMark decision-support tools' ability to capture shopper activity and turn it into actionable insights."

The partnership reinforces Fox's position as the preferred supplier of mesh bags to the produce industry by offering innovations to produce marketers that are seamlessly integrated into a total packaging system.

"We looked at several technologies and found that the HarvestMark solution was the most capable, trusted and suitable for our customers' needs," said Keith Fox, President of Fox Packaging. "Growers don't want to hire a Web team and build software. Our partnership with HarvestMark means our customers can focus on what they do best: bringing great quality, fresh produce to shoppers."

HarvestMark solutions are used today by more than 400 brands, sourcing fresh food from 4,000 farms from Canada to Argentina. HarvestMark proprietary analytics create new sources of insights and profits for retailers and fresh food producers.
