The Invisible Dog Announces Their Upcoming Events
November is Invisible Dog's favorite month to be American, with Thanksgiving around the corner and Recession Art Show paying homage to America's wackiest pastime-religion-with their fifth group show at The Invisible Dog, American Idolatry. While the show is up, get your dose of French connection with Cine Club's first event at The Invisible Dog, a screening of Jacques Demy's Lola. Next, Ben Owen curates an evening of contemporary and experimental music, and the internationally renowned Celeste Prize broadens our horizons with their annual exhibit and awards presentation (their second at The Invisible Dog)-the best way to remind yourself that you belong in a sophisticated city like New York before you head home for the holidays to brave Cousin Larry's stuffing. Last up, in our fourth Theater/Text event, the inimitable Erin Markey presents a reading of her new work-in-progress.
