BPA Gallery Presents Lauren Crew's PRESENCE, January 2014

Lauren Crew's "Last Call" - Presence

Stop by the BPA Gallery in January for Lauren Crew's fine art photography project "Presence." Exploring her grief surrounding her mother's death, Crew uses natural light and a quiet color palette to reflect her isolation and the chronic void she's encountered since her mother passed away. She says, "Dealing with my loss has left me feeling misplaced at times, so it is important to me that the collection of images demonstrates those feelings while at the same time exposing the complex beauty of my experience."

Gallery hours througout the month are 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday - Friday plus one hour prior to each performance. Admission is free at BPA, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island.

The BPA Gallery showcases regional artists in monthly rotating exhibits in the C. Keith Birkenfeld Lobby and participates in the First Fridays Art Walk nearly all year. Contact Dominique Cantwell at 206.842.4560 with gallery inquiries.

BPA is supported, in part, by Bainbridge Community Foundation and One Call for All.
