The 16th Annual Broadway Barks took place yesterday, July 12, in Shubert Alley. Founded by Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters, this star-studded dog and cat adoption event featured celebrities from the hottest shows on Broadway to benefit New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies.

Stars included Zach Braff (Bullets Over Broadway), Danny Burstein (Cabaret), Colin Donnell (Violet), Matt Harrington (Matilda The Musical), James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin), Andy Karl (Rocky), Lesli Margherita (Matilda The Musical), Audra McDonald (Lady Day at Emerson Bar & Grill), Ciara Renee (Pippin), Mary Testa (Wicked), and so many more! Marking its 16th anniversary, Broadway Barks again helped hundreds of New York City's shelter animals find permanent homes by informing New Yorkers about the plight of the thousands of homeless dogs and cats in the metropolitan area.
