In December, Broadway lost one of its brightest stars in Ann Reinking, who sadly passed away at the age of 71. Her legacy live on though, as dancers from the Broadway and National touring companies of Fosse and Chicago have reunited to tribute her memory.

Today Concord Theatricals launched a brand new lyric video in honor of the 42nd anniversary of the Broadway opening of THEY’RE PLAYING OUR SONG. Members of the theatre community have spoken out about the impact that the near year-long Broadway shutdown has had on the industry, and what the shutdown could mean for people in the industry moving forward.

First Date: The Musical, starring Samantha Barks as Casey and  Simon Lipkin as Aaron will arrive exclusively on BroadwayHD on February 12th.  The production, directed by Dean Johnson and produced by Lambert Jackson productions, was live streamed for a limited time in October 2020 from the world renowned Crazy Coqs, a music venue in London.  This is the first time the production will be available to fans since the limited engagement this past fall.

Just last week, BBC Radio 2 and BBC One aired  Musicals: The Greatest Show- a celebration of the nation's favorite songs and performers from the world of musical theatre. Starring 12 singers and an orchestra of 16, Simply Sondheim includes over 30 songs from the composer's canon, and was filmed over the course of three days in Signature's MAX Theatre with multiple safety protocols in place.
