Cleveland Play House plays matchmaker with the next installment of Theatre Thursday: The Art of Connection on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 7:00 pm. Hosted by Artistic Director Laura Kepley, the February edition features four short plays commissioned by CPH and written by Philip Dawkins, Crystal Finn, Nandita Shenoy, and Lloyd Suh.

The festival, which launched February 1 and will run through June 30, 2021, features a diverse range of works that use the medium of mail in a broad range of ways.

McCarter Theatre Center, Princeton University Health Services, The 24 Hour Plays and Innovations in Socially Distant Performance, a project of the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton, will launch The Manic Monologues, a digital theatrical experience to disrupt stigma around mental illness and spotlight a conversation about mental health.

New York City Ballet announced today that the Company is planning to create several new works and special programs, many of which will be specially filmed onstage at the Koch Theater, for online release from February through May 2021.  

Morpheus Productions Company LLC will present Spill: A 1920's Murder Mystery written by Anthe Haliotis. Spill will be performed LIVE on Friday, February 12th and Saturday, February 13th at 7pm EST. Tickets are $10. A portion of proceeds will be used to purchase meals for local hospital staff and volunteers at COVID vaccination sites.

The North Carolina Black Repertory Company has announced the virtual world premiere of Freedom Summer, written by Cynthia Grace Robinson and directed by Jackie Alexander. The 90-minute play will be available for streaming on demand, February 12-28, 2021.

Pittsburgh Public Theater has announced Public PlayTime's February reading: Justin Emeka's ROMEO N JULIET, February 18-21, 2021. Mr. Emeka serves as The Public's Resident Director and now brings his adaptation of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to the screen in a virtual theater experience audiences will never forget.

Next up in First Stage's Through Our Lens 2021 Virtual Season of Plays will be Arthur Miller's powerful and timely drama THE CRUCIBLE. Winner of both the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award and inspired by the McCarthy hearings of the 1950s, the play takes audiences back to a fictionalized account of the Salem, Massachusetts witch trials that took place during the years 1692 and 1693.

Talking It Out is an ongoing virtual theatre festival dedicated to promoting mental health awareness. Founded by award-winning writer & producer Anthony J. Piccione, the first Talking It Out performance was presented live at the Dramatists Guild Foundation's Music Hall on March 10th, 2019.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center will present Mario: The Luxury of Love. Live., this virtual Valentine’s event that will be live streamed on Sunday February 14, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. Mario a multi-platinum recorded artist released five albums.

Portland Center Stage’s 2021 annual gala, Metamorphosis, will be livestreamed on February 20, 2021, at 7 p.m., following a 6:30 p.m. pre-show with music from Blossom. The event is free and open to all.

Musicians of the Princeton Symphony Orchestra will perform Johann Sebastian Bach’s Das Musikalische Opfer (The Musical Offering), BWV 1079 over four musical episodes, released weekly on the orchestra’s website Wednesday, February 17 - Wednesday, March 10.

Reconnected, an unforgettable evening of psychological astonishments by acclaimed mentalist, Jason Suran, has announced that virtual performances have been extended by popular demand. Since opening in October, 2020, the hit show has been a sell out and now has been extended through July 23, 2021.

Slava’s Snowshow is about to become available on streaming for the first time ever. BroadwayHD has secured worldwide exclusive streaming rights and will be bringing the show to viewers in the U.S. and globally on February 8. 

On Thursday, February 4, at noon, the BSO NOW concert streaming platform will launch the first of four archival programs, featuring artists who enjoyed especially close relationships with the orchestra. All four programs were originally produced and distributed by Boston public broadcaster GBH for the iconic Evening at Symphony television series.

The Auditorium Theatre announced their Auxiliary Board's 8th Annual Trivia Night fundraiser - moving to a virtual setting on March 19, 2021 from 6-7:30PM. Tickets are $15 each or $90 for a team of six. Proceeds benefit Hearts to Art, the Auditorium Theatre's performing arts summer camp for young people who have experienced the death of a parent.
