Casting has been confirmed for the UK Premiere of psychological thriller, The Other Place, in which a brilliant neurologist descends into disorientation. Directed by Claire van Kampen and written by Sharr White, the cast includes Karen Archer, Eliza Collings, Okon Jones and Rupinder Nagra.

Southwest Theatre Productions (SWTP) has gained a reputation for bringing new, meaningful plays to the Austin stage. New Jersey-based theater company Chimera Productions is proud to present its 13th production, The Other Place by Sharr White, in Princeton, New Jersey on July 19, 20 and 21, 2018, in conjunction with The Arts Council of Princeton. The play, presented in the intimate 60-seat theater inside Princeton's Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, is a fast-paced, witty, powerhouse of a drama about a scientist on the brink of a revolutionary discover, who's also contemplating divorce and trying to revive her relationship with her estranged daughter.

An original devised play, The Tragical Comical Fool's Game (Or, Nun of Your Business) follows Bella (an almost nun) as she grapples with her destiny and a crazy crew of characters all trying to sway her in various directions. Very (very) loosely based on Measure for Measure, The Fool's Game shows on July 10th at 5pm, 11th at 7pm, 18th at 9:15pm, 21st at 6:15pm, and 26th at 5pm. It runs approximately one hour. All performances will be held at the Christ United Methodist Church at 900 4th Street, SW - Orange Venue. Individual tickets go for $17 and can be purchased on the Capital Fringe website. Please note that you will need a Capital Fringe button ($5 through July 6th) to enter the venue!

Damsel Productions today announces Abi Zakarian's Fabric in support of Solace Women's Aid, a charity which works to bring an end to the harm done through domestic and sexual violence. Hannah Hauer-King directs a brand new production with Nancy Sullivan as Leah. Opening at Soho Theatre on 13 September, with previews from 11 September, and closing on 22 September, the production then tours to non-traditional theatre spaces in four of Solace's target London boroughs from 24 September to 6 October.

Rep Stage, the professional regional theatre in residence at Howard Community College (HCC), has announced casting for its first show of the upcoming season, "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in the Berkshires, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, announced today that Associate Artist Christopher Innvar will play "Torvald" in Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House, Part 2. Innvar replaces the previously announced Shuler Hensley.

Producer Scott Rudin has announced that to accommodate ticket demand, Edward Albee's Three Tall Women will add a ninth performance in its final week of performances. Nominated for six 2018 Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Play, Three Tall Women must close as previously scheduled on Sunday, June 24, with the added 7:00 PM show now the final performance for the ecstatically received production. Tickets are on sale now at Telecharge.com, and at the Golden Theatre box office (252 West 45th Street).

Metcalf most recently won a Tony Award for her unforgettable performance in last season's A Doll's House, Part 2, and received three Emmy Awards for her portrayal of Jackie Harris in the hit television series 'Roseanne.' At MCC Theater, she received Lucille Lortel and Obie Awards for her performance in Sharr White's The Other Place, a role she reprised for Broadway and for which she also received a Tony Award nomination. Metcalf is currently on Broadway in Three Tall Women.
