Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club has found its new leads! Fra Fee will play 'The Emcee' and Amy Lennox will play 'Sally Bowles' from 21 March – 25 June 2022. This unique production opened in December last year to critical and audience acclaim, widely praised as the ultimate theatrical experience.

Joining the previously announced Michael Fox (Jim/Tom), Andrew Langtree (Karl/Steve), Richard Lintern (Russ/Dan), Imogen Stubbs (Bev/Kathy) and Eric Underwood (Albert/Kevin) are Katie Matsell (Betsy/Lindsey) and Aliyah Odoffin (Francine/Lena).

After many delays due to the COVID 19-pandemic, playwright Terrence McNally’s award-winning Love! Valour! Compassion! opened at The Market Theatre in Johannesburg during November of last year.  Love! Valour! Compassion! is directed by Gregg Pettigrew and produced by Frans Swart and will play in the Artscape Opera from 1 to 12 February, with performances Tuesdays to Saturdays at 18:30, and matinees at 14:30 on Saturdays. 

Having had to shut down the production of Bruce Norris' seminal play Clybourne Park at final dress rehearsal in March 2020, Trish Wadley Productions and David Adkin, in association with Park Theatre, have announced that the production, originally planned for the play's 10th anniversary year, will open at the venue in March.

Previous fiction program winners of the globally regarded Golden Nymph Awards include Modern Family, Breaking Bad, Money Heist, The Marvellous Mrs Maisel, and My Brilliant Friend. A stellar rollcall of acting talent has also been recognized by the Festival including Patricia Arquette, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Grégory Montel, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Performing alongside Mairéad, (violin) will be celebrated Irish musicians, Fiachra Garvey (piano) and Siún Milne (violin), and international star violinist Fumika Mohri from Japan, cellists Brandon Cho (USA) and Alexander Kovalev (Russia), and violists Sindy Mohamed (France) and Sara Ferrández (Spain).

Compassion! opened at The Market Theatre in Johannesburg last week.  Lefra Productions announced the 25th anniversary revival of the hit play in 2020, but was forced to postpone the launch of the production on a number of occasions. 

Riverside Theatres will present Red Line Productions' world premiere of Just Live On Stage! from Tuesday 21 to Monday 27 December 2021. The production is adapted by Robin Goldsworthy from the JUST book series written by Andy Griffiths and illustrated by Terry Denton, and directed by award-winning actor and mother of two, Blazey Best (Belvoir's My Brilliant Career).

The world premiere stage production of everyday hero Neil ‘Nello’ Baldwin’s story Marvellous will be performed from Friday 11 March to Saturday 9 April. The story of Nello’s extraordinary life has previously been adapted into a BAFTA winning film and a book.
