The Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto (MOCA) today shared details of its exhibitions programme for the first part of 2020, featuring new commissions by Carlos Bunga, Shelagh Keeley, and Megan Rooney. An installation by Sarah Sze launches 'The City Is a Collection,' a new exhibition series presenting major contemporary artworks from private art holdings within the Toronto community.

Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for the Off-Broadway solo hit Robert Dubac's BOOK OF MORON will go on sale to the public this Friday, December 6, 2019. Robert Dubac's BOOK OF MORON will play Broadway In Chicago's Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) for a limited two-week engagement from Feb. 25 - March 1, 2020.

Film Movement Acquires a Treasure Trove of Digitally Restored British Classics for Release on Loaded Blu-Ray

Since its launch in 2015, the Film Movement Classics label has been dedicated to seeking out distinctive films of the past from around the globe, and offering these digitally restored classics to cineastes everywhere. Following the recent theatrical releases of FRITZ LANG'S INDIAN EPIC and Bill Forsyth's coming-of-age classic GREGORY'S GIRL and the home entertainment releases of French farce THE MAD ADVENTURES OF RABBI JACOB and King Hu's pioneering wuxia film, THE FATE OF LEE KHAN, Film Movement has acquired a baker's dozen of British classics from the '40s-'60s for Blu-ray and digital release on the Film Movement Classics label beginning this December.

After 12 years of performing its holiday show at the Gibraltar Town Hall, Northern Sky Theater announces the very first 'Home for the Holidays' to be held at their new Gould Theater. This year's concert will feature three talented performers: Eric Lewis, Katie Dahl, and Rich Higdon. The all-new concert for 2019 will play for six performances from December 27th through December 31st.

Damien Sneed Releases New CD, JAZZ IN MANHATTAN

The LMGI Awards spotlight international features, television and commercials in which the creative use of filming locations set the tone, enrich the character and enhance the narrative. Jazz at Lincoln Center Announces 'Jazz and Art' Album

In past concerts that have been described by the New York Times as being “soulful,” “evocative,” and “playing directly to the band's strengths,” the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis performed original compositions inspired by masters of modern art including Romare Bearden, Stuart Davis, Sam Gilliam, Winslow Homer, Wifredo Lam, Norman Lewis and Piet Mondrian. On August 2, 2019,Blue Engine Records will release the studio recordings of these charts on a new album entitled Jazz and Art.
