The Coolidge Corner Theatre has announced award-winning and boundary-breaking director, writer and producer Elegance Bratton (Pier Kids, The Inspection) as the inaugural recipient of The Coolidge Breakthrough Artist Award. 

Rubicon Theatre Company will present the Southern California premiere of THE REALISTIC JONESES, Wednesday, January 25 at 7:00 pm, with a press opening on Saturday, January 28 at 7:00 pm, running through Sunday, February 12.

Disney’s hit musical Aladdin will welcome Sonya Balsara to the company as Jasmine beginning Thursday, January 19. Aladdin marks Balsara’s Broadway debut, though she played the role on Broadway for several weeks last fall.

A whole new world just in time for a whole new year…DISNEY'S ALADDIN will make its anticipated Mami premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County from January 3-8, 2023. ALADDIN, adapted from the animated Disney film and centuries-old folktales including “One Thousand and One Nights,” is brought to fresh theatrical life in this bold new musical.

Soho Rep and the NAATCO National Partnership Project will present Public Obscenities, a bilingual play performed in Bangla and English from writer-director Shayok Misha Chowdhury, co-commissioned and produced by the two organizations, February 15-March 26, 2023.

City Lit will return from the holidays with THE BIRTHDAY PARTY, Harold Pinter’s first produced full-length play. Artistic Director Terry McCabe, who will direct this dark comedy, has announced the cast and creative team.

Full casting has been announced for the first major London revival of Dario Fo and Franco Rame's riotous Accidental Death of an Anarchist in 20 years, in a new adaptation by comedian, writer and actor Tom Basden.
