Tony-Award-winning actress Victoria Clark will join soprano Renée Fleming and the Emerson String Quartet at the Aspen Music Festival and School (AMFS) on August 1 for the Aspen premiere of Penelope, a new work by the late Andre Previn and Tom Stoppard. Clark will perform the role of the narrator in a performance that will also feature pianist Simone Dinnerstein. The performance sold out within weeks of going on sale.

Today, THE FLAMING LIPS release their 15th studio album, King's Mouth: Music And Songs, via Warner Records on vinyl, CD and digital platforms. The original gold colored vinyl Record Store Day limited edition pressing sold out instantly. King's Mouth is now widely available on all formats. To coincide with the album's release and tour, a brand-new video from the album “How Many Times,” is also released today. In typical Lipsian fashion, the video is lysergically colorful and completely joyous in its simplicity. It was shot in the band's hometown of Oklahoma City and directed by Wayne Coyne. THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, the brand-new stage musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell) and a book by Philip LaZebnik (Mulan, Pocahontas) and based on the celebrated DreamWorks Animation film, today announces initial casting for its West End premiere production. Luke Brady and Liam Tamne will lead the cast as 'Moses' and 'Ramses' respectively, with Christine Allado as 'Tzipporah' and Alexia Khadime as 'Miriam'. Further casting to be announced.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced that it will produce Intimate Apparel, a new opera with music by Ricky Ian Gordon and a libretto by Lynn Nottage, based on her critically acclaimed play.  The production, which will be directed by Bartlett Sher, will begin previews Thursday, February 27 and open on Monday, March 23 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).
