Chicago is never lacking outstanding theatre, whether epic Broadway shows, engrossing dramas or bold fringe offerings. BroadwayWorld is rounding up our top recommended theatre every month.

A packed line-up of 34 hit West End shows has been unveiled so far ahead of this year's West End LIVE, a free and unticketed celebration of London's world-leading theatre scene which comes to Trafalgar Square on the weekend of 25 and 26 June. Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning 1938 three-act play OUR TOWN has a superb new iteration now performing at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, CA through June 4, 2022. Directed by Beth Lopes, the show employs a wonderfully diverse cast, as it re-stages its seemingly ordinary but ultimately impactful vignettes of everyday life.
