Tarell Alvin McCraney's CHOIR BOY, playing at Yale Repertory Theatre through April 23, is directed by the prodigiously talented Christopher D. Betts; Betts has created a terrific production, for the most part, with outstanding acting, singing, and scenic, lighting, and costume design. The play itself has some predictable elements, but for the most part Betts' interpretation makes for a thought-provoking and moving experience.

The new season includes an assortment of iconic superstars, innovative tribute shows, dance, jazz, comedy, plus a robust music, holiday and variety lineup, one of the best Broadway seasons in years and more than two dozen shows making their McCallum debuts. The Green Room 42 has announced their April line-up for in-person performances. Located inside YOTEL Times Square (570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor), The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest and most spacious cabaret club.

Fourth Wall Live and Frank Wildhorn have announced that West End stars Trevor Dion Nicholas, Natalie McQueen, John Owen-Jones, Christine Allado, Natalie May Paris, Frances Mayli McCann, Jordan Luke Gage and The Arts Ed Choir will be joining the composing icon on stage for  FRANK & FRIENDS – The Music of Frank Wildhorn.

The Addams Family will be the first musical since the pandemic for the Detroit Mercy Theatre Company in Detroit. The 90-minute dramatic concert version of the show will run from 3/31-4/10 at The Marlene Ball Theatre. 'Love. Laughter. All-American Family. Secrets,' responded director Greg Grobis when asked to describe the show in five words.

The DCPA Theatre Company has announced the full casting and creative team for Tarell Alvin McCraney’s Choir Boy in the Kilstrom Theatre running April 22 through May 29, 2022.
