An exuberant blend of toe-tapping hits and raunchy comedy, The Book of Mormon knocked on the door of Broadway's Eugene O'Neill Theatre in 2011, later receiving 9 Tony Awards including the coveted title of Best Musical. Written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with Avenue Q co-writer Robert Lopez, this flamboyant mega-hit pokes fun at Mormonism and musicals in general, daring audiences not to be swept away by a riptide of crude humour and blatant social commentary.

It's hard to believe The Book of Mormon is already on making its 4th return to Denver. Since premiering its tour in Denver in 2012, the mega-hit returned in 2013 and 2015, yet it's still one of the hottest tickets. And are we really surprised?

On May 26th, 2018, the celebrated Broadway production of The Book of Mormon played its 3,000th performance, passing the elite milestone as the curtain came down Saturday night at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre.

The Book of Mormon has a new missionary! BroadwayWorld has just learned that Dave Thomas Brown, last seen on Broadway in American Psycho, will take over the lead role of Elder Kevin Price beginning February 20.

SHN: Broadway in San Francisco shared a video on Twitter yesterday that depicted a timelapse of the San Francisco company of The Book of Mormon loading in. The video shows the crew piecing together the set and allows fans to get a glimpse of how their favorite show is created.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards® including Best Musical, has broken the house record in Salt Lake City for the week ending August 20, 2017 at the Eccles Theater grossing $1,779,310.50 for a standard 8-performance week.

CBLDF is reporting that The Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City is no longer allowing beer, served at the concession stands, into the theatre because of a very specific law.

The Broadway production of The Book of Mormon has just surpassed $500 Million in total gross ticket sales since it first premiered at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre on February 24, 2011.

Time flies at the Eugene O'Neill! Today, stars from THE BOOK OF MORMON, including Nic Rouleau (Elder Price), Christopher John O'Neill (Elder Cunningham), and Nikki Renee Daniels (Nabulungi), celebrated five years on Broadway at the top of the Empire State Building. The company 'flipped the switch' to make the world-famous tower lights shine in white and orange for the special occasion.
