Heading into the 2022 theatre season, Austria has a wealth of productions that deserve your attention. In this feature, I break down some of the shows that I will definitely be getting tickets to see. From Saigon to Rydell High, a ton of shows to choose from, so go out there and get your tickets before they're gone!

The indie stalwarts and leading lights of the Britpop scene will be performing at Parr Hall on Wednesday, 30 March, as Rick Witter’s trio continue to celebrate 25 years of their second album, A Maximum High. 

Having had to shut down the production of Bruce Norris' seminal play Clybourne Park at final dress rehearsal in March 2020, Trish Wadley Productions and David Adkin, in association with Park Theatre, have announced that the production, originally planned for the play's 10th anniversary year, will open at the venue in March.

Wicked is back on the road across the country, and the reviews are in! The cast includes Talia Suskauer (Elphaba), Allison Bailey (Glinda), Sharon Sachs (Madame Morrible) and Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winner Cleavant Derricks (The Wizard).

Kimmel Cultural Campus has announced the much-anticipated return of in-person performing arts across their venues: the Kimmel Center, the Academy of Music, and the Merriam Theater. On September 18, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., Kimmel Cultural Campus will host a grand reopening event in Commonwealth Plaza to celebrate the start of the 2021-22 season.

Broadway In Chicago has announced the reopening of its theatres on October 5, 2021, including two pre-Broadways, PARADISE SQUARE and THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, four direct-from-Broadway productions Disney’s FROZEN, WHAT THE CONSTITUTION MEANS TO ME, COME FROM AWAY, MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL and more.

It’s time to get your squad together to watch the Tunes play the Goons in “Space Jam: A New Legacy.” In the film, basketball champion and global icon LeBron James goes on an epic adventure alongside the timeless Tune Bugs Bunny and the Tune Squad in this animated/live-action event.
